Holiday Aromatherapy Christmas Gift Making

Personalized Holiday Gift Giving

I remember growing up, I used to make Christmas gifts for my family and friends. In elementary school, we were given time to create projects and personalized gifts for our parents and grandparents. Those became lifelong treasures. Nowadays, it seems like gift cards have taken over, or store bought gift sets. Why not this Christmas, return to our roots of homemade, handmade, personalized gifts? Gifts that offer health and wellness for the mind, emotions and body? In addition, you’ll be bringing a heartfelt smile to their face.

Scent-filled Christmas Gifts for All

So, who is on your list? Family members, friends, teachers, co-workers, colleagues, vendors, acquaintances, secret Santa, adopted family, etc.? Write their names down on a piece of paper. Now, think about something that is special to them. A theme, a favorite hobby, a collection such as lighthouses, a favorite color, movie, or scent. Do they need any stress relief? Do they need some mental boosting or clarity? Something maybe invigorating or rejuvenating? Something for grief, anger, worry or courage? Write that next to their name.

Next, decide what you want to make up for them, so when they use it, they think you and feel grateful. What about a relaxing lotion and body spray set? Or Mental Booster Roll-on with an invigorating scented hand sanitzer? A garden scented room “potpourri” in a nice covered glass jar or wood box, wrapped in a ribbon? A grief support spray and roll-on set?  You name it, you can make something special to match that them.
