JennScents® Holistic Aromatherapy Certification FAQ’s:

Q: What is a Level I and Level II Aromatherapy Certification mean?
A: A Level I and Level II Aromatherapy Certification is a program established by the internationally recognized organization of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy also referred to as NAHA (www.NAHA.org).  JennScents has been an approved education provider with NAHA since 2007. You can review their Approved School Guidelines and Standards at http://naha.org/education/.

Q: How do I register to get started?
A: Click here to register with the JennScents Institute. After registering, check your email and click the link provided to create your password and verify your account. You will then be directed to your account page where you will be able to purchase the courses you want to take. Once you purchase a course, you will have immediate access to it.

Q: Do you offer a payment plan?
A: The JennScents Institute does not offer a particular payment plan, however we do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Our courses are organized so you can purchase as you go (a la carte), to help with budgeting. If you decide to purchase all 8 courses, level I & II at once, you will save $248. We also run specials from time to time, so that may help you as well, so sign up to receive our newsletter to receive those notifications. Q: Do I have to take the Level II courses in a particular order?
A: After the Level I, Introduction to Holistic Aromatherapy, you begin your level II studies with Advanced Holistic Aromatherapy. From there, it is highly recommended, but not mandatory that continue with Specialized Aromatherapy, Aromatherapy for Body Systems, Aromatherapy & Herbal Integration, Aromatherapy for Skin Care, Aromatherapy for Emotional Healing and Aromatherapy Business Building, respectively. This will help develop your knowledge, expertise and skills, building upon the foundation you gained in Level I.

Q: What does “lab hours” mean and how to do I complete them?
A: Lab hours are your “hands-on” training. The lab hours consists of case studies that you will complete in your home or workplace, as well as a study guide, book report, creating custom blends that you will mail into the JennScents Institute for review and grading, and any other assignments described within the course.

Q: How long do I have to complete each class?
A: You will have three (3) months from the date of purchase to complete each course. An extension may be offered for extenuating circumstances.  In this case, you will need to request an extension in writing to jh@jennscents.com including your name, student number, reason for extension request and time extension needed.

Q: When will I become a “certified” holistic aromatherapist?
A: You must complete all Level I and II courses in order to be considered a Certified Holistic Aromatherapist and use the CHA designation behind your name.

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy for purchasing courses (required by NCBTMB)?
A: Any cancellation request of the JennScents Institute courses must be done in writing within 48 hours of purchasing the course, for a refund less a $25 processing fee.

Q: Are your courses mobile and tablet compatible?
A: Yes
