It has been shown to possess anxiolytic and anti-histaminic properties, making it good to calm nerves and help during times of cold and flu, fevers and respiratory issues. It is reported to be antispasmodic, which can help abdominal spasms and pain. It has tonifying properties, thymus stimulant and scientifically shown to possess vasorelaxant and mood balancing properties. It contains azulene, providing its blue color.
